We were just two kids, naked in the garden
The moon painted just enough light
Oh, I could see every freckle
There was nothing left to hide
Me and you and a steamy summer night!
Ou, what a summer, what a summer!
Ou, what a summer, what a summer!
Ou, what a summer, what a summer with you!
I don't want to wash the smoke out of my hair
Just cut it off and send it to you in the mail
While you're at school with another girl
You'll come home to me and you'll stay a while
And everyday could be like summer again!
Ou, what a summer, what a summer!
Ou, what a summer, what a summer!
Ou, what a summer, what a summer, with you!
You say its magic when I open my mouth
Well baby prepare to be spellbound
We'll pack our bags and go to California
And everyday would be like summer with ya!
I feel the flames all over your tongue
They're swirling too fast and you finally won
You say hush baby, hush babe the night has come
But you'll sing me to sleep and you'll leave with the sun
Everyday could be like summer!
Everyday could be like summer!
Everyday with you could be so
Hot and steamy, warm and dreamy
Everyday could be like summer with you!

Well... Like some people here, I never really liked that song! However, this is *so* much better than the original, for all the reasons already listed by deluded_marxist! The depth of feelings here, especially from the vocals but also the slow music, really is on a whole other level! Thanks to Tara Tantrum for taking me here! Highly recommended!!! bmurator

I happened upon Tuba Skinny and Erika L buskin’ in New Orleans on YouTube! I have Loved them ever since and play their albums daily! As a musician and band member in Canada, I can say that Tuba Skinny and their soulful renditions touched my soul in ways that have uplifted my life. We in the “great White North” can only dream of making New Orleans jazz like T S. Long Live Tuba Skinny and may their music become world wide for the enjoyment of all!! Davey1
