Our bed is broken
And I cannot perform
Our paths were chosen
Long before we were born
Call me your darling
And I'll be your dear
Brush through the tangles
While sipping your beer
Don't touch me, I'll split in too
Despite my shaking, I love you
I'm sick, can't you tell
With a splash of potion, I'll be well
I was under the notion, you fell
With a splash of potion, I'll be well
We are naked and new
I don't know your bones
But I know you
You could be my new home
Someone's been here before
They left plenty a scar
Don't try to love me
You'll push too hard
I'm afraid of your hands
But in love with you heart
So come back to bed
Before I fall apart
Our bed is broken
And I cannot perform
Our paths were chosen, long before we were born

Well... Like some people here, I never really liked that song! However, this is *so* much better than the original, for all the reasons already listed by deluded_marxist! The depth of feelings here, especially from the vocals but also the slow music, really is on a whole other level! Thanks to Tara Tantrum for taking me here! Highly recommended!!! bmurator

I happened upon Tuba Skinny and Erika L buskin’ in New Orleans on YouTube! I have Loved them ever since and play their albums daily! As a musician and band member in Canada, I can say that Tuba Skinny and their soulful renditions touched my soul in ways that have uplifted my life. We in the “great White North” can only dream of making New Orleans jazz like T S. Long Live Tuba Skinny and may their music become world wide for the enjoyment of all!! Davey1
